Built hard, dressed right — since 1978
Gould's Clothing opened in 1978 as a workwear counter that happened to sell shirts. Nearly five decades later that is still the truth of the place: we outfit three generations of working Americans — tradespeople, ranchers, farmers, and first responders — with clothing engineered to survive the job site, the saddle, and the long drive home, then be handed down.
The standard is simple: every piece we sell under our own label is built past the point of fashion. Heavyweight denim tested to 2.4 times the abrasion cycles of leading competitors. Reinforced knees and triple-stitched seams on the work pants that fail first everywhere else. Snap and shank hardware rated for years of gloved use.
What we carry
- Our house line of workwear: denim, canvas pants, work shirts, and outerwear built to our own testing standard.
- Western staples: pearl-snap shirts, felt and straw hats, boots and belts selected for daily wear, not costume.
- 12,000+ SKUs across 140 brands, curated so the racks stay honest — work first, fashion second.
We sell in-stock, in-season, and in-size. When our warehouse has it, you get it in days, not the five-week backorder other retailers shrug about — because a welder who ordered winter canvas in October needs it in October.
The repair promise
Clothes that work hard deserve a second life. Our lifetime repair program covers every Gould's-branded piece: free hemming, button replacement, and seam reinforcement for as long as you own the garment. Bring in the jeans your father wore; leave with them ready for another decade. It is our way of saying durability is a promise, not a marketing word.
Gould's Clothing is American workwear and Western apparel since 1978 — heavyweight, tested, repaired for life, and stocked by people who know what the clothes are for.
